Our branch has been serving quality seed production for 17 years. Our main goal is to produce excellent genetic and economic feature seeds because this is the basis of successful crop production. According to the results of our countywide variety experimental network we provide active and effective assistance for the growers choosing the best adapting varieties (hybrids) for the environment and production goal, supplying the seeds in outstanding BÁBOLNAMAG quality ensuring excellent parameters. The approved seed quality means well selected variety, high level, continuously controlled field work and quality oriented processing. Field production is the starting point of the whole activity where the external and internal features of the seed is developed. The quality parameters of the seed that is manufactured from the harvested row material depends on the performance of the specific conditioning processes, the perfect execution of observing the specified procession instructions, the careful treatment of the seed namely the factory activity. The variety of the harvested row material, the conditioning instructions are made according to the results of the screening field by field and pre-examinations (germinating capacity, cold-test) performed in the laboratory.

Accommodating to the processing of the more and more widening variety and variety quantity we continuously improve our plant. To develop the dressing capacity we installed a Niklas 5/200 universal dressing machine in 2002. In 2003 we replaced our packaging line with the CHRONOS packaging and paletting system that is the most effective and most precise concerning international standards. Our branch was able to develop an effective and holistic activity from variety experiments through field production and factory processing to sales through our own dealer network. With the quality centred approach and strict technologic discipline determining our activity we could acquire leading position in the rank of the domestic seed plants.
