Precision farming application at IKR
We have been developing precision crop production and system application since 1998. Thanks to the nearly 6 years development now we are able to provide an integrated system to the growers.
We are present at 20 farms with this modern technology. We have specific data concerning 150 fields. About a certain number of the fields we have several year interval data that is included in our space informatic system.

With the help of this innovative technology it is possible to perform differential spreading of mainly fertilizer (differential seeding and pesticide spreading is under construction) accommodating to local demands, and to modify the method of the operation within the field.
The satellite positioning system makes it possible to separate the areas requiring different treatment within the field. Due to this the most effective crop production can be performed on the specific field areas.
The yield map provides digitally processed and stored data about the specific field. The required data is logged and stored by a harvester equipped with less than a meter accuracy DGPS receiver and yield sensor. The crop yield and moisture data is available from any point of the field and the altitude coordinates necessary to create a relief map.

According to the yield map the consultant designates the soil sampling units and makes the soil sampling with satellite navigation capable, DGPS-equipped system.

If the grower has no yield map, the soil sampling plan is made by net pattern.

With this new technology we can make soil sampling next time (3-5 years later) at exactly the same point as before. Due to this the processes in the soil can be monitored. The partner receives exact area data about the patterned field (free of charge).
We offer this method for the growers. According to the proper agricultural practice it is necessary to make soil sampling in every 5 years. If money is spent on it, choose the most sophisticated method providing the most information!
The consultant prepares the optimal fertilizing plan according to the results of the soil sampling, the yield plans, the pre-sowing, etc.

The consultancy system is based on proven, calibrated, continuously monitored and corrected, more than 20 years old data base.
The results of the process can not be ignored considering environmental aspects neither because at the areas where lower yield is expected no fertilizer is wasted in higher volume than reasonable.
With our DGPS-equipped fertilizer spreader we can perform differential spreading according to the spreading plan together with data logging.
The differential spreading is arranged concerning both liquid and solid fertilizers.
